It’s an opportunity to do your life’s best work.(sm)Positions in this function collaborate with assigned work groups and project teams to design and coordinate marketing materials and communications to ensure that the materials are delivered clearly and effectively (e.g., emails, reminders, presentations, talking points, training preparation materials, job aids)The Sr. Communications Specialist will be responsible for working in an independent manner, but as part of a larger team to ensure that timelines and deadlines are met. The Sr. Communications Specialist will consult with assigned partners to define needs and preferences, be responsible for providing routine updates on the status of outreach efforts and will be expected to participate in workgroups in the development of new programs. This position will assist in development of detailed project plans for key strategic initiatives/projects, manage communication projects to monitor/ensure proper implementation and evaluate results of communication projects. Includes gathering and assimilating topic-specific information that span multiple teams and validating conclusions. Create audience-appropriate communications, then collaborate with leaders to finalize materials, distribution approach and timing, so communication objectives for achieving shared-team goals are met. The work environment is fast-paced, involves cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed approach. Successful candidate must be adept in planning/implementation, have experience juggling multiple priorities, handling time-sensitive communications, have very Solid copywriting skills and excellent editing ability.Excellent verbal and written communication skills will be crucial to your success in this role. Bachelor's Degree

3+ years of experience in a professional communications role

3+ years of experience developing communication materials/presentations

2+ years of experience managing documentation and communications projects

2+ years of experience assessing, interpreting and documenting customer needs and requirements

3+ years of experience in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

2+ years of experience in advanced SharePoint (or similar technology) configuration as a main communication media

The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900.
