North Shore Health has a fulltime position open for a Lab Tech (MLT or MLS).  We also have several openings for Casual Lab Techs. This is a generalist position that includes testing in all areas of the lab: Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Transfusion Medicine. Other required duties are: phlebotomy, specimen processing, clerical and technical tasks, continuing education, competency, training, and other lab responsibilities as needed.We provide laboratory services for outpatients and Care Center residents as well as 24/7 laboratory services for our hospital and emergency departments.  Applicants must be willing to work day and evening shifts, as well as a rotation of on-call hours, weekends, and holidays.  This is a professional position that requires a high level of responsibility.  Applicants must be reliable, self-motivated, able to work both independently and as a team, have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, and also demonstrate quality, efficiency, and integrity throughout all aspects of their job functions.
