Maintains knowledge of, and follows all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.

Actively participates in crafting, and implementing improvements, to achieve clinical happiness, and efficiency outcomes.

Cleans all occupied rooms on a daily basis, to provide a clean and sanitary environment to the patients.

Prepares discharge units and/or surgical procedure, and completes end of day cleaning in surgical procedures room, to provide a clean sanitary environment to the patients.

Maintains and clean areas including: maintaining of hard surface and carpeted flooring, cleans offices and public areas, collects and disposes of refuse.

Cleans up after emergency spills and breakages, to prevent exposure to substances that could be safety hazards.

Maintains and performs special work assignments, and reports to supervisor upon completion, to align with quality and frequency standards, in department policy and procedure manual.

Understands the security requirements of medications and IV solutions.

Restocks paper supplies upon daily cleaning of area, to ensure they are adequately filled, and maintains linen distribution system, to provide user areas with adequate amounts of linen, to give patient care.

Mixes, uses supplies, and maintains equipment, to aid in cost containment and safety.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications & Other Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.

Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
