Customer Service Representative

Description We are seeking a diligent Customer Service Representative in the healthcare sector, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, where the successful candidate will be expected to handle customer service responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. The primary job function will be to provide excellent service to clients, handle a high volume of calls, manage customer data, and understand the broader context of their role in the delivery of medical equipment.Responsibilities: Fielding a significant number of calls from patients and case managers, ensuring all inquiries are handled promptly and professionally. Accurately inputting orders into the order system, paying close attention to detail to minimize errors. Conducting regular follow-ups on orders that may be delayed, and taking necessary action to expedite the process. Reviewing fee schedules to confirm benefit eligibility for customers, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate. Submitting and processing authorizations to insurance companies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols. Working proactively with management to understand and fulfill their career objectives within the organization. Utilizing customer service software efficiently to manage customer interactions and maintain customer satisfaction. Performing data entry tasks, including numeric data entry, to maintain accurate customer records. Applying basic medical terminology knowledge to understand and respond to customer inquiries effectively. Using Electronic Medical Record systems to access and update patient information as required. Requirements Possess proficiency in Call Center Customer Service Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality Customer Service Experience with Customer Service Software is essential Competence in Data Entry is required Proficiency in Data Entry - Numeric is mandatory Knowledge of Basic Medical Terminology is necessary Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems is required Prior experience in a healthcare or NHS setting is beneficial Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary Ability to handle stressful situations and high-volume workload effectively Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
