FINANCE MANAGER - OPERATIONS ABOUT YOU: We’re looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to join the Jostens team and partner with leadership in shaping our financial strategy and operations! In this pivotal role, you’ll manage key financial matters across the organization, from preparing detailed financial reports and budgets to forecasting cash flow positions and assessing borrowing needs. You’ll ensure Jostens has the funds necessary for both operational and capital investments, while providing valuable insights to guide long-term strategic planning. Education. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, providing a solid foundation for success in this role.

Experience. 7+ years of related professional experience in finance or accounting.

Technical Skills. Database/ERP skills, including experience with systems like Oracle/EDW. Expertise in Excel and Access, enabling data analysis and reporting efficiency.

Strong Communication. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.

Presentation Expertise. Experience presenting to management groups and senior-level executives with confidence.

Analytical Mindset. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to dig into data and uncover actionable insights.

Intellectual Curiosity. A natural curiosity to continuously learn and explore new financial trends and solutions.

Strategic Thinker. Results-oriented with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive meaningful change.

Business Acumen. A deep understanding of complex business relationships and the ability to assess their impact.

Preferred. People manager with an advanced degree or CPA license/certificate.

YOU WILL:

Partner. Collaborate with operations and supply chain leadership on strategic initiatives and lead analysis that drives improved operational performance.

Implement. Provide, implement, oversee, and operate the necessary controls to ensure accurate and timely accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting of costs of goods sold and inventory across the organization, in collaboration with other finance leaders.

Own. Take responsibility for the P&L and Balance Sheet accounting and reporting.

Lead. Help lead the improvement and standardization of COGS and inventory reporting across the various plants, business units, and product lines within the organization.

Serve. Act as the key finance business partner for outsourcing projects, leading the creation of make vs. buy analyses, estimating and tracking cost savings, and contributing to the plan and execution of accounting process implementation.

Assist. Support the month-end close processes related to COGS and inventory.

Contribute. Assist in the creation of the annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly financial forecasts (P&L and balance sheet).

Provide. Create ad-hoc analysis in support of key operations and supply chain initiatives for the company.

Typical/expected % of overnight travel: Less than 10%

Our Finance team combines traditional financial planning, analysis and accounting with collaborative business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting leadership in Marketing, Sales, Digital & Operations. Team members are expected to analyze data and provide recommendations across our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products and Professional Sports. Through the utilization of best-in-class technical software, such as Tableau, SAP BPC, Oracle, Salesforce, & the Microsoft Suite, you will get to play a critical role in determining financial solutions that steer our business.
