Roadside Service Technician / Battery Salesman

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Emergency Roadside Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential roadside assistance services, including tire changes, fuel delivery, lock-out services, jump starts, and battery installations. This role does not involve towing vehicles or performing mechanical work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly to service calls and arrive at the customer's location in a timely manner.

- Change flat tires and install spare tires for customers.

- Deliver fuel to customers who have run out of gas.

- Assist customers who are locked out of their vehicles by unlocking car doors.

- Provide jump-start services for vehicles with dead batteries.

- Install new batteries for customers whose batteries have died.

- Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle with all necessary tools and equipment.

- Ensure all services are performed in a safe and professional manner.

- Communicate effectively with customers, providing them with updates and estimated arrival times.

- Document all service calls and complete required paperwork accurately.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.

- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and handling tires and batteries.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends

- Must live in the area.

- Must have own Vehicle and Tools.

- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

Training:

- Comprehensive training will be provided to all new hires before their start date.

- Training will cover all aspects of roadside assistance services, safety procedures, and customer service best practices.
