Manufacturing company in Eagan is looking for and experienced Drafter. We are looking for someone who is motivated, likes a challenge, and takes pride in the products they help to produce.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (such as AutoCAD and Inventor).
Collaborate closely with Estimators, Project Managers and Design Engineers to understand design intent and incorporate necessary modifications into drawings.
Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to guidelines.
Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, Estimating and Project Management to address queries and clarify design specifications.
Work within established project timelines to ensure that drawings are completed and delivered according to project schedules.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Possess a strong understanding of stainless-steel sheet metal properties and fabrication processes.
Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
Ability to read and understand written specs provided by customers.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of relevant industry codes, regulations and standards.
EDUCATION:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor)
