Job Title: Assembly 1st ShiftJob DescriptionGathers blueprints, routing sheets, setting specifications, and all related fixtures and tools necessary to assemble the products when directed. Moves parts to assembly area from storage racks. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, or other fasteners. Uses blueprints, routing sheets, settings specifications, required hand tools and fixtures, and test benches to assist in assembly operation. Assembles parts into repair kits and switches; then packages and moves the products to the shipping department for further processing. Inspects products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to production departments. Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Tallies number of products packaged or records information such as type of products packaged. Operates pallet jack to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Packs parts properly to prevent damage during transportation to next operation.Hard Skills
