Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role will be instrumental in the management and execution of various accounting functions within the organization. The successful candidate will be adept at using accounting software systems and should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.Responsibilities Execute accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring accuracy and timeliness Utilize accounting software systems for efficient processing and record keeping Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial information and compliance with regulations Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts periodically to ensure accuracy Handle customer inquiries related to accounting issues, providing timely and appropriate responses Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status Use ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and related tasks Work with ERP systems for efficient management of business processes Utilize the Concur system for travel and expense managementPlease note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.Please submit your resume and call Jordan Lynch at 651-293-3973 for review and consideration.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Extensive knowledge of Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Auditing processes Ability to maintain and manage Balance Sheet Accounts Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work High level of integrity and trustworthiness Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
