Job SummaryCommercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This role will have the responsibility of leading multiple diverse teams with dependent work-streams to enable and support client program implementations for Sonexus Patient and Access Support Services on a customized Salesforce Platform and hybrid solutions.What Commercial Technologies Software Engineering contributes to Cardinal HealthCommercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience.Commercial Technologies Software Engineering develops design options, process improvements and back-end solutions for commercial technologies to maximize performance and suitability for business needs. This job family manages engineering projects and plans for commercial technologies and interfaces with product managers to develop objectives. This job family assesses product systems, identifies opportunities for process and system improvements, and develops solutions through application of engineering principles.Responsibilities

Develop and implement multi-year technology roadmap for both strategic and operational technology

Establish and develop relations with business stakeholders

Partner with the executive leadership team to leverage technology as a competitive advantage

Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits

Assess potential partners and vendors, and help structure relationships and approaches to integrate technology capabilities and functionality in various ways

Monitor relevant changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage

Design & customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience

Analyze the costs, value and risks of technology to advise management and suggest actions

Ensure aligned objectives and execution across internal and external stakeholders to create mutually beneficial partnerships to identify areas of growth and innovation

Advise on long term business and growth planning

Ensure product and services are compliant with the law and company’s policies

Manage strategic partnerships with preferred technology vendors

Qualifications

12+ years of experience preferred

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred

Proven experience as a senior technology leader at a healthcare related company

Proven experience leading distributed teams of Software Managers, Software Engineers and Quality Engineers

Deep understanding of the overall healthcare system and industry trends, including how different stakeholders interact, specifically Patient Access and Support Services

Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in product development and implementation roles preferred

Understanding of concepts including AI / GenAI, machine learning, natural language processing and other innovation trends

Understanding of healthcare, drug processes, prior authorization, benefit verification, patient journey etc.

Strong track record with Salesforce implementation and customization preferred

Demonstrated understanding of business constraints and an ability to independently develop and convey highly complex strategic concepts in a concise and consumable manner for various audiences

Capacity to deliver on deadlines while contributing to various stakeholders, projects and business relationships at once

Ability to develop and maintain capacity planning across multiple teams

Exceptional emotional intelligence to help manage complex relationships partners, stakeholders, design, engineering and leadership

Excellent verbal & written communications and strong storytelling skills

Experience in recognizing the impact of technical / digital approaches can have on strategic business decisions

Ability to travel as needed (up to 30%)
