Medical Assembler- $19/HR- $23/HR(Based on Experience)in Saint Paul, MN, USJob DescriptionAs a Medical Assembler, you will begin in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment. You will wear appropriate cleanroom attire, including a smock, booties, hair net, beard net if applicable, and eyeglasses. You will operate coil winding machines, inspect and manipulate wires, and contribute to the manufacturing of medical products such as stents, catheters, and leads.Responsibilities
Operate coil winding machines to wrap coils around a spindle.
Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes for 30-50% of the day.
Cross-train in multiple areas, including molding, CEA assembly, laser welding, and implantable housings.
Work in the molding area to inspect and deburr parts using hand tools.
Operate laser welding machines with high attention to detail.
Work with automated presses and stamping machines in the implantable housings area.
Follow written work instructions and use small hand tools for assemblies.
