Overview:$18.50 / hourOversee the safety of domestic and international residents by staffing the front desk, enforcing housing facility's rules and procedures.You'll also

Communicate with international students from 18 or more countries.

Train, schedule and motivate all seasonal associates in Housing. Coach and counsel associates as needed.

Review housing associates time-cards on a weekly basis.

Work with Maintenance to follow-up on routine work orders and emergency building maintenance issues to ensure items are in proper condition in all facilities.

Utilize reporting functions to ensure correct billings and deductions for all housed associates.

Respond to questions and concerns of residents. Within established parameters, work to resolve complaints satisfactorily.

Clean and stock shared areas, including lobbies, kitchens, and bathrooms as necessary.

Qualifications:

Must be available some weekdays, weekends, evenings, overnights and holidays into early November.

Leadership experience in Hospitality, Hotel, or Multi-family housing environment preferred.

People who love helping others and will support the needs of our associates.

Good judgement and a commitment to safety.

Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.

Individuals with a passion and excitement about Valleyfair.

Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office products.

Ability to work alone with minimal supervision or in a team environment as needed.

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
