We are seeking a full-time Estimator/Project Manager-Heavy Civil in Maple Grove, MN. Our focus is efficiency and to be the best at what we do. Individual will be required to grow in the position and excellent company growth opportunities exist for the right candidate.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Obtain plans for bidding

Determine scope of work

Identify and contact potential sub-contractors

Accurately project the cost of the bid

Prepare the bid before submitting

Project Management including (but not limited to): subcontract administration, project scheduling, and budget management; while identifying how to meet and exceed project deadlines profitably

Job Qualifications:

5 years minimum experience - 7-10 preferred.

Ability to accurately read and interpret plans/blueprints “ even when conflicting information exists

Experience in Construction software a plus: We use Bluebeam, Agtek, Civil 3D, HCSS (HeavyBid & HeavyJob), MS Project

Creative problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Detailed and organized

Able to cope with stress of day to day activities, while looking at the bigger picture

Ability to cultivate new client relationships, while maintaining current ones
