This is a job for a Florida Commercial Title Examiner Remote with a company in the Jackson, MS area.Job Summary: Search public records and examine titles to determine legal condition of primarily commercial or industrial property title. Copy or summarize recorded documents which affect the condition of title to the property. Works independently and uses experience to examine title to real property, ranging in complexity, to determine status and establish chain of title. Builds base of experience with different types of property. Projects undertaken can range from simple parcels requiring a few hours of production time to commercial properties that may take days or even weeks to complete.Responsibilities: Embark on title examination adventures, from simple parcels to complex commercial properties. Analyze a wide array of records, including mortgages, leases, liens, and more. Play detective to resolve missing or contradictory information in title documentation. Craft accurate title commitments and reports that stand up to scrutiny. Leverage your expertise to provide underwriting interpretations. Utilize cutting-edge online research tools to stay ahead of the game.Qualifications: 3-5+ years ofFlorida commercial title examination experience (this is crucial!). A superhuman ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. An eagle eye for detail and a passion for quality. Sherlock Holmes-level analytical and problem-solving skills. Top-notch communication skills you'll be collaborating with a global team. Proficiency in MS Office and industry-specific software (Adobe Acrobat, DataTree & Trace, etc.) A dedicated home office space with high-speed internet for our secure VPN.
