Work Location: Butte, Helena or Great FallsQUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Safety/OSHA major required
Successfully completed freshman year or above
Must be in good academic standing
Must provide GPA in Resume upon application
Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Must have personal housing availability in work locations
Ability to do limited travel up to 15% of time
Ability to lift materials up to 35 pounds
Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Provide assistance to Company safety professionals and conduct ergonomic evaluations, work site inspections, safety meeting presentations, industrial hygiene sampling (e.g. noise, indoor air quality) field inspections, visits, etc.
Support Program Administration - OSHA recordkeeping, medical surveillance, drug and alcohol, etc.
Support and update safety standards and programs
May be requested to conduct research on various safety/health related issues
Participate in organizational work meetings
Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position, will work May - August full-time (40 hours per week) and September - December part-time (up to 20 hours per week).$20.00 per hour.Apply by October 6, 2024.
