Summary: 3-week full-time, road travel-based assignment in Missouri beginning Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 21st, visiting new car dealerships. Compensation includes full-time pay, plus travel and expenses.

Who are we?

We are a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company with $40 million in annual revenue.

We recently won (another) major contract with one of the world’s largest automakers and need high-energy, outgoing “account managers” with strong communication skills, extroverted personalities, and an interest in tech, software, and mobile apps.

This is not a sales position, since we’ve won the contract.

What we need you to do

We need you to get the dealership onboard, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the upcoming launch of the software.

This means joining another colleague and as a team, traveling to dozens of new car dealerships, walking in, introducing yourselves, speaking with the manager, explaining the software at a high level, and even showing them how to log on. There is no discussion of pricing or a sales transaction since we’ve already closed the deal.

You should be able to demonstrate the software which is relatively easy. If you can explain how to do a detailed search for a specific item on Amazon, you can show them how to use our software.

Business, communication, supply chain, and/or computer science/engineering majors do well in the role as do competitive, inspirational leaders from group activities such as sports, athletics, acting/theater productions, etc.

You need to be comfortable representing our technology brand to dealerships in a way that conveys professionalism, integrity, and keen attention to detail while following a talk track during your meetings, scheduling your itineraries, maintaining a budget, and sharing your insights daily.

What should you expect?

We expect that you will spend Monday morning through Friday afternoon, traveling and visiting at least five dealerships per day, or at least 25 per week. Success means completing at least ninety visits between June 1- June 21. There’s flexibility in deciding where you would like to spend your weekends (staying on the road vs. returning home.)

Please be comfortable with:

a high level of road travel,

have a clean driving record with active and current auto insurance policies, and

be free of conflicts that would prevent you from traveling over those three weeks between Monday and Friday

We will cover the cost of your lodging (private single room at a Hyatt House or similar brand), including a meal allowance ($40 per day), fuel costs, and your rental car with insurance.

Compensation

Compensation is a flat fee of $2,500 for the three-week assignment, resulting in at least 90 dealership visits. Please recognize that due to travel requirements, you will most likely be working more than 40 hours per week between Monday and Friday.
