As an Executive on our team, you could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members.Position Purpose: Leads and shapes the organization's information architecture, ensuring data integrity, availability, scalability, and security across our systems. Define and implement the information architecture vision to support business goals, streamline operations, and drive innovation in data management. Responsible for collaborating across departments to understand information needs, develop information models, and create a scalable and sustainable information architecture framework which will serve as the foundation for all of our next generation solutions from both an operational and analytic perspective.

Lead the information architecture function and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategy with business objectives.

Define and establish the overall vision and strategy for the company's information architecture, ensuring it supports current and future business needs.

Align to data governance, including policies, standards, and best practices for data integrity, security, and privacy.

Oversee the design of data models, metadata management, and the integration of structured and unstructured data.

Develop a comprehensive data infrastructure that supports advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) applications.

Work closely with IT, analytics, security, and business teams to ensure data flows across the organization effectively while minimizing redundant copies of data.

Serve as a key point of contact for senior leadership on data management and information architecture issues.

Develop and enforce information architecture standards, ensuring consistency and transparency across the organization.

Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for information architecture and data management.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data architects and analysts.

Oversee department staff including hiring, performance management and career development to ensure alignment with defined goals.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in data architecture, information management, or related fields, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

Proven experience with data governance, data modeling, and metadata management.

Strong understanding of cloud-based data architectures, data lakes, and integration tools (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with big data platforms like Databricks and/or Snowflake.

Hands-on experience with advanced data technologies, including ETL tools, data warehouses, APIs, and analytics platforms.

Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders; Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven project management and organizational skills.

Pay Range: $227,400.00 - $431,900.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
