Job Title: Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing cabinets, racks, drawers, and other components into the back of Transit vans and other trucks. This role involves working in the assembly department and using air tools to meet customer specifications.Responsibilities
Install cabinets, shelves, drawers, and other components into Transit vans and other trucks.
Work with air tools to ensure installations meet customer specifications.
Perform tasks involving bending, twisting, and repetitive movements.
Get in and out of the back of vans as they progress down the assembly line.
Spend the majority of time on knees and bending to complete installations.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Experience in assembly and installation work.
Ability to perform upfitting tasks.
Knowledge of general production processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and ear plugs (no steel toes required).
