Join us and be a part of a team that shapes the infrastructure in and around one of America's most vibrant cities.SummaryThe role of the Human ResourcesCoordinator is to support the daily operations of the HR department in multiple functional areas, such as reporting, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance. This is an in-office position (not remote) with an exempt FLSA classification. The position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.Essential Responsibilities

Onboarding Coordination:

Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including pre-hire communication, collection of required documents, and scheduling of orientation sessions.

Ensure all new hires have the tools, resources, and access needed to start successfully

Employee Experience:

Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period and answer any questions that may come up.

Conducting regular check-ins with new hires to ensure smooth integration into the organization.

Make recommendations for improvement.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies by collecting, verifying, and securely storing all necessary documentation.

Assist with completing background checks, I-9 verification, and other required pre-employment processes.

Support audits by organizing required documentation.

Collaboration and Communication:

Act as a first point of contact for HR inquiries.

Distribute company announcements and updates.

Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Payroll, and Safety, to ensure onboarding tasks are completed on time.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with managers about the onboarding status of their new team members.

Human Resources Administrative Tasks:

Responsible for maintaining employee records (e.g., benefits and performance).

Generation of HR-related reports for management.

Assist with benefits enrollment, reviewing and reconciling monthly billing statements and enrollments, and resolving employee questions.

Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate processing.

Maintenance of HRIS, ensuring information is captured within our system (UKG). Responsible for data entry, verification, managing workflow, auditing, and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and experience working with diverse groups or teams.

Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of the organization.

High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

Strong communication skills.

Strong teamwork orientation.

Experience with an HRIS system (UKG preferred)
