Cerner's Public Government organization is looking for a Project Manager to join their team! Our organization focuses on State contracts, specializing in Medicaid and state regulations. As a Project Manager, you will provide day-to-day management of projects including risk management, stakeholder communications, and interdependencies between projects or programs. Some of your responsibilities will include facilitating project implementations; creating and maintaining project work plans, overcoming project barriers; obtaining requirements, evaluate and determine objectives, goals, and scope of multiple projects; networking within an organization to drive initiatives, strategies, issue resolutions, and alignment; and creating, monitoring and providing ongoing communication to appropriate stakeholders. - At least 2 years of work experience with project management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Kansas City, MO
