Including system monitoring and troubleshooting of IT Incidents/Requests. The Analyst follows established processes and procedures from training plans, knowledge base articles and organizational documentation. Technology Operations Analyst provides customer service to staff on IT related issues, communicates in an accurate and effective manner, and escalates major incidents to Sr and Lead Analysts for guidance when needed. The Analyst is an IT generalist and problem solver across all technologies. The Analyst cross-trains with others to prevent single threaded support gaps in an ever-evolving technology landscape. The Analyst provides support/analysis of local area networks, software, hardware, phone systems, faxing systems, paging systems, user training/support, knowledge article creation, and new technology project deployments. Conduct day-to-day analysis, provide customer facing IT operations, and fulfill departmental workload in the form of Incidents and Tasks.
Engages senior team members to resolve operational issues in a timely manner and works to develop new skills through mentorship and escalations.
Participates on small projects to assist in technical implementation or troubleshooting for net new or expanding efforts at the hospital. Project work is typically well-defined and well documented.
Identifies process improvements that help drive optimization and simplification in how we support the hospital.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and 1-2 years' experience OR
High School diploma, or equivalent,and 5-7 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience in IT/IS customer support and/or Technical Support.
IT Ticketing Systems experience Preferred
ITIL Foundations Preferred
CompTIA Network+ Preferred
CompTIA Server+ Preferred
MCSA or CCNA certification Preferred

The pay range for this job begins at $31.02/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based on your education and experience.Remote Work/Work from HomeThis is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location.
