Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Arabic Coffee Barista to join our team and deliver exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Arabic coffee culture, possess excellent customer service skills, and demonstrate proficiency in preparing traditional Arabic coffee blends.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and serve authentic Arabic coffee according to traditional recipes and standards.
2. Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing information about Arabic coffee culture and the various blends offered.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment, utensils, and serving stations.
4. Uphold quality control standards for coffee preparation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every cup served.
5. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, spices, and other ingredients, and place orders as needed to ensure sufficient supply.
6. Collaborate with other team members to create new and innovative coffee blends, while also respecting and preserving traditional recipes.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in Arabic coffee culture to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency, striving to resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
9. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
10. Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members, sharing your expertise and passion for Arabic coffee culture.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a barista, with specific expertise in preparing Arabic coffee.
2. Deep knowledge and appreciation of Arabic coffee culture, traditions, and rituals.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
6. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
7. Certification or formal training in barista skills is preferred but not required.
8. Fluent proficiency in Arabic language is highly desirable.
9. Passion for coffee and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for customers.
