1st Shift & 2nd shift CNC Mill Setup/Operator
CNC Vertical Machining / Setup & Production Operator must demonstrate proficiency in machine setups and steady production on Okuma vertical machining centers and similar precision equipment. The ideal candidate needs an upbeat attitude, should enjoy CNC machining, and have a good knowledge of G-Code programing and speeds and feeds needed to machine various materials. In this position you will be responsible for efficient setups and production runs while maintaining high quality parts through in-process inspections. The required skills and competency will require a minimum of 5 years’ experience. You need to be more than an operator for this position.
The following are not required but would be an advantage:
CNC Programming experience
Experience with CNC Mill setup/operation
Solid background on manual machines
Experience with inspection methods
Forklift certified
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Positive Attitude
Highly motivated to do what it takes to get the job done in an efficient, safe manner
