About Pawsperity:
Since 2016, Pawsperity has been helping uplift families from generational poverty through job training in the art of dog grooming. Pawsperity serves some of the community’s most vulnerable members, including individuals often coming from backgrounds of domestic violence, addiction, incarceration, and homelessness.
Position Overview:
To support its continued growth, Pawsperity is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and engaging Development Associate to join the team. The ideal candidate will assist in fundraising, events, and administrative functions that are vital to the continued success of Pawsperity and its mission.
Position: 20 hours a week. Schedule TBD
This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and currency of donor database records, as well as leveraging database tools for research and reporting. Key duties include routine data entry, processing donations, and promptly generating accurate thank-you letters to acknowledge gifts. Additionally, this role will assist in coordinating and supporting Pawsperity’s donor cultivation and fundraising events.

Minimum Requirements:
Associates or bachelor's preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience.
1-2 years’ experience working in fundraising or project organization.
Non-Profit experience preferred.
Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Hours will need to be worked in the office for this particular position.
