Lead Analytics Consultant Kansas City, Missouri, United States
Job Description The Analytics Consulting team is responsible for turning billions of data points captured every day in the EHR into meaningful insights that help clients' better diagnosis and plan for how to solve a problem. Through an iterative approach, the Analytics Consulting team helps clients analyze EMR data. Part of this methodology includes iterating until we generate an insight in to the data to provide clients with tools to help them make smarter and data driven decisions.In addition to having an approach that goes beyond reporting actionable insights, as a team we also believe we possess a set of unique skillsets that make us effective. Specific examples include data acquisition (CCL, SQL), data visualization (tableau reporting), data analysis including basis stats and Cerner solution knowledge. We are looking for a bright new team member with a strong grounding in Cerner's solutions, an analytical mind and strong project management capabilities. Additional Information Virtual Eligible Job Yes Relocation Assistance Available for this Job: No Qualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 10 years total combined education and related work experience, including:
- 3 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
- 7 years higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Health Care, Statistics or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of CCL/SQL, PowerPoint, Excel and Tableau work experience
- In-depth understanding of Cerner solutions and Millennium data elements
- Communication skills; able to facilitate meetings with clinicians, strategists, Cerner executives; able to facility meetings with clients
- Ability to develop effective presentations and data visualizations
- Analytical thinking and interest in using metrics to improve decision-making and influence behavior
- Willing to travel up to 60% as needed
- Must reside in the Kansas City area or live within 60 miles of a Cerner virtually approved city
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
