What you'll do

H&R Block is looking for a Web Analyst to reinvent our digital experiences. You will empower customers through our Fintech startup focused on providing financially vulnerable and coping consumers access to innovative financial services. Financially backed by one of the largest alternative financial services providers in the Americas, this startup is well-positioned to disrupt the US financial services industry for the underserved. The company is currently in pre-launch and is expected to enter the market early-2022.

We are looking for a solution-focused individual who is self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and enjoys using their technical skills to debug issues. The team you would be joining is a group of collaborators that strive to keep each other at the center, creating space for growth and learning so we can thrive. What you'll be doing:
  • Solving problems using metric tools, debugging tools, data and analysis
  • Developing, customizing, and troubleshooting analytics code in complex environments with the heavy use of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Performing quality assurance to ensure tagging is working as planned and identify any issues or gaps
  • Be responsible for understanding business problems and capturing requirements by leading effective conversations with business and technical teams
  • Designing technical specifications requirements and document data collection plans for Adobe Analytics
  • Project managing multiple business partners requests and project activities at any one time
  • Providing best practices consulting services to business partners in solving their web analytics, tag management system and technical implementation needs
  • Implementing analytics tagging using Tag Management System

It would be even better if you also had

  • Experience working with clickstream web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or working knowledge of the field of web analytics
  • Knowledge of/experience with Tag Management Systems (Tealium, Ensighten, Adobe DTM, Adobe Experience Platform Launch, Google Tag Manager)
  • Knowledge of/experience with git/GitHub/BitBucket

What you'll bring to the team

Experience/Education:
  • Strong technical skills; working knowledge of JavaScript/HTML/CSS, browser functionality, and other common web technologies or a bachelor's degree in a related field with knowledge of JavaScript/CSS/HTML
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new things and collaborate
  • Must be detail-oriented and team-oriented
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
