Opportunity: As we prepare to launch our restaurant, we are seeking a talented and ambitious Chef to join our culinary team. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside a nationally acclaimed, award-winning chef, who will provide mentorship and guidance throughout the summer. You will have the chance to learn from the best in the industry and contribute to the creation of a menu that showcases the finest ingredients and culinary techniques.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute a creative and diverse menu that reflects the restaurant's concept and vision

Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating

Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and sanitation in accordance with health and safety regulations

Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure excellence in execution and service

Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control measures to optimize efficiency and profitability

Stay updated on industry trends, seasonal ingredients, and culinary techniques to continuously enhance the menu and guest experience

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment

Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a reputable institution

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

Creative flair and passion for culinary innovation

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
