Project Leadership:
Manage project scope, budget, risks, and timelines across diverse, cross-functional teams in a complex international setting.
Partner with the IT Project Manager to ensure the technical and business aspects of the project are seamlessly integrated.
Process Definition & Reengineering:
Facilitate workshops with Business Analysts, SMEs, and other stakeholders to map current "as-is" processes and define improved "to-be" processes.
Ensure reengineered processes align with both internal goals and industry best practices.
Business Requirements:
Coordinate and document business processes and user requirements, identifying gaps and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Translate functional needs into actionable deliverables for IT development teams.
Team Management:
Lead, coach, and manage Business Analysts, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.
Define clear responsibilities and expectations, track progress, and address challenges to ensure team success.
Project Execution:
Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, documentation, testing, deployment, integration, and change management.
Drive the adoption of LIMS solutions by managing stakeholder communication, training, and change initiatives.
Governance and Reporting:
Establish and enforce governance structures for business processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting risks, progress, and mitigations.
Collaboration:
Act as the business counterpart to the IT Project Manager, ensuring that functional and technical objectives are aligned and executed effectively.
Work closely with deployment teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful system rollouts across global labs.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, or a related laboratory-focused or technical field.
Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2) are required.
Certification in business analysis (e.g., IIBA) is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or operational management, preferably in laboratory or bioinformatics environments.
Proven experience in business process design and improvement for large-scale systems implementations (e.g., LIMS, ERP).
Experience managing international teams and customers, with familiarity in Agile/SCRUM methodologies as a plus.
Specific Skills Required:
Strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of project management methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
Knowledge of software design and architecture, with familiarity in Life Sciences regulatory requirements.
Effective leadership and management skills, especially in multicultural and multi-time-zone environments.
