We boldly go.Job Summary:District Sales Office (Company Owned Equipment) or DSO Planners are partners with DSO leadership and must manage sales and availability risk to optimize product availability in the DSO Markets. Using many types of analytical tools, they systemically control these assets in full support of field sales. DSO Planners control inventory levels and supply chain / logistical plans. Successful DSO Planners learn quickly, build trust and great relationships with their partners and work effectively with all levels of local and senior leadership, and have high personal motivation. This is a remote position.Responsibilities:

Consignment Warehouses Focus

Consignment creation working with the consignment team, sales and credit on alignment with consignment revenue goals.

Creation and management of stocking plans for all DSO consignment warehouses.

Single point of contact for all consignment Account Managers and consignment warehousing specialists.

Regular review of consignment warehouse stocking plans to identify slow moving product and action accordingly.

Work with sales, warehousing, and other departments in strategic planning for the future of consignment warehouses.

Utilize Servigistics, Oracle BI Reporting, Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau to analyze data to draw meaningful conclusions to support forecast levels and stock plan accuracy.

Monitor and maintain Trane Technologies BOS Standard work, metrics and KPIs and reporting as needed.

Achieve monthly, quarterly and YE inventory goals (Dollars, Turns, Availability, Days on Hand, Entitlement) while also supporting sales goals.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships across departments. While this primarily concerns the Consignment Team, others include but are not limited to: the Transportation Team, Customer Service Teams, Dealer Sales Offices, SIOP, Warehousing, and Production Planners to support sales forecasts, warehouse replenishments and dealer direct orders.

Manage inventory throughout the phase in/phase out process during New Product Introductions to minimize obsolescence while fully supporting sales demand.

Develop and implement processes to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.

Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with sales, consignment team, and other DSO planners where it concerns availability, demand changes, and forecasting.

Manage Servigistics planning based on historical sales, seasonality, lead time, demand shifts, and marketing forecast. Execute inventory plans to minimize inventory while maximizing customer service levels.

Item Maintenance and Purchase Order Maintenance

Understanding of key buying concepts listed but not limited to:

Creating and maintain tools, reports and presentations.

Application of Operational Excellence tools 9 Step / A3 Thinking

Active participant in the SIOP Cycle

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Strong analytical skills.

Basic understanding of statistics.

Ability to communicate with different departments and levels in the organization.

Ability to deduce and manipulate substantial amounts of data.

Ability to communicate less than popular decisions while maintaining and enhancing relationships for future interactions.

Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge Tableau or Alteryx.

APICS certification or experience considered a plus.

Oracle or other ERP experience.

Servigistics experience preferred.

Base Pay Range: $50,000 - $108,000Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
