Position Title: CNC Machine Operator
Wage: $21.75/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for a company in Marshfield, MO. This is a contract to hire role.
CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences
- Mount, align, and secure tooling, attachments, and work piece on machines, as well as uploads and downloads documents
- Calculate and set machine controls to position spindle in relationship to work piece and to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow
- Start and stop machine to change cutting tools and setup according to required machining sequence or to measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications
- Operate machine manually to perform no automated functions and when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunctions
- Inspect first run piece and spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications
- Inspect and change tooling as required for continuous operation of machine
CNC Machine Operator Requirements:
- Repetitively lift 50-60lbs
- Stand on feet on concrete floors for up to 8 hours per day in steel toe boots
- Must have knowledge of operating and programming CNC machines
