Position Title: EHS Assistant
Wage: $16-$17/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
QPS Employment Group is hiring an EHS Assistant for a company in Springfield, MO. This is a temporary role.
EHS Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Pick up trash throughout the facility, including outside the building
- Operate a forklift in the warehouse and help with moving product throughout the facility, unloading and loading trucks and helping with production
- Recycle cardboard, pick up and stack pallets, and ensure the work areas are clean and tidy
- Use a computer in an office to help check EHS permits and regulatory expectations
- Report and communicate with the EHS manager
- Maintain files and records
EHS Assistant Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be good with computers
