Job Title: Quality Control TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a QC Technician, you will spend nearly all of your time on the production floor, using computers stationed alongside the lines to document data and non-conformances. Your primary responsibility will be to catch any products that are out of specification or non-conforming and escalate these issues to the QA Lead on staff. You will regularly walk the lines, set up quality equipment at the start of each shift, verify all equipment is working correctly, and conduct visual inspections to ensure products have clear labels and barcodes.Responsibilities

Understand and demonstrate safe work practices while working.

Monitor the statistical process control (SPC) software suite called GainSeeker.

Monitor, measure, and document line processes to ensure conformance to product Master specifications.

Examine and document packaging components and finished product assembly for conformance to product Master specifications.

Program, calibrate, and assist in the setup of Hi-Speed check weighers, Videojet, and Marsh coders.

Program and monitor the Automated Inventory Management system for identifying and tracking finished production.

Place non-conforming product on hold for disposition by the QC Manager.

Pull product retain samples.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Experience in a regulated environment, lab, SOP, assembly, batch record, GMP, quality check, and quality inspection.

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and conversions.

Strong attention to detail to catch any out-of-spec products.

Interest in learning and taking on new responsibilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma minimum with experience or an Associate's degree in a lab-related discipline.

Experience in a regulated or Quality Control environment is ideal but not necessary.

Soft skills such as strong attention to detail and pride in work are crucial.

Interest in the pesticide and home protection manufacturing business within crop science.
