We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendants (EVS Technicians) to help maintain a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.Benefits Offered: Competitive Pay: $16.00–$20.00/hourFlexible Schedules: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN (as needed) positions availableGreat Benefits (Full-Time only):Medical, Dental, Vision, and Company Provided Life Insurance401K with Company MatchVacation & Sick Leave6 Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Referral Bonus ProgramSummary/Objective:Provides daily laundry services for the residents to ensure a safe, clean and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Provides daily laundry services to residents in an effective and efficient manner. Gathers and weighs soiled personal items, linens, garments, etc. and places in appropriate containers. Sorts stained items for treatment/stain removal. Folds, hangs and distributes personal items, linens, and garments to resident rooms. Follows the facility’s laundry schedule to ensure timely services to the residents.Reports any repairs needed to equipment to EVS Director/Supervisor. Cleans equipment and work areas as assigned by EVS Director/Supervisor. Participates in activities related to ensuring a clean and safe environment.Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and facility’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Attend in-service educational programs. Follow defined safety codes while performing all duties. Understand facility’s fire and disaster plans; follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies. Perform other department duties assigned by the EVS Director/Supervisor.
