A truck washer’s job description at Fly In Lube & Wash entails working in a team environment to wash semi-trucks, motor homes, cars, pickups, campers, and more. Truck washers operate power wand machines to wash and remove impurities from trucks, glass, tin plate surfaces, plastic, and rubber. Truck washers also hand wash vehicles using brushes, rags, and required chemicals to ensure all parts of the vehicles/trucks are properly cleaned, washed, and waxed.
This work requires a lot of physical movement, standing and bending to work on cleaning vehicles. The garage environment presents risks that can lead to cuts, strains and other injuries, so an attention to detail and a focus on safety are crucial for truck washers.
