We are a growing company that is seeking a full-time mechanic that is eager to learn and can follow directions. We are looking for a team player that is able to multitask and shift directions quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
Open, clear, articulate communication with service advisor
Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
Accurate communication with part suppliers
Maintain equipment, tools, and keep shop area neat, clean, and able to account for all shop-owned tools.
Requirements:
Proven experience as auto mechanic
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
A problem solver
Must own all appropriate hand tools related to general repair and maintenance operations
Must work efficiently as part of a team, be reliable and dependable while being focused on maintaining high level of customer service
Working knowledge of shop equipment
General mechanical skills with good judgment
