Sheridan Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SEC), located in Medicine Lake, MT, has an opening for a full-time Journeyman Electrician. The applicant must have a MT Journeyman Electrician License or a Journeyman License from a reciprocal state and be able to obtain a MT Commercial Driver’s license. SEC is a rural electric cooperative serving parts of five counties between Northeast Montana and Northwest North Dakota.
Starting wage is $48.45/hr., with new union contract April 2026. SEC offers an excellent benefit package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, pension, 401k retirement plan with 5% 401k matching, a generous vacation/sick leave package, including 9 paid holidays, a $3000 start up FR clothing allowance, and relocation assistance.
Successful candidate will work 4-10’s seven months of the year, and 5-8’s the other five months. Possible school loan payoff and/or start up bonus (1/2 at start of employment, the other ½ at six-month positive evaluation).
