Job Title: Aircraft TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Airframe Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer's specifications, approved procedures, and customer specifications. This position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. The role includes performing high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems and components using proper hand tools efficiently, cleanly, and safely, with no rework. The technician will accurately order general aircraft parts as needed.With limited supervision, the technician performs minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components. This position also prepares various documents for record-keeping purposes, as required by company policy and FAA regulations (e.g., turnovers, removal sheets, personal training log). The technician must demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing accurate and timely discrepancies and corrective action statements, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives (AD) Compliance statements, final inspection, and closing of squawks and work orders.The technician will be performing maintenance on Business Jets, including Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon. Candidates with sheet metal or structures experience are highly valued.Hard Skills

Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Lincoln, Nebraska.Work EnvironmentTechnicians will work inside a temperature-controlled hangar, which is also heated with heated floors in the winter. Available shifts are 1st shift from 6:00am - 4:00pm (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), 2nd shift from 2:00pm - 12:00am (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), and a weekend shift from Friday-Sunday, working 3 12-hour shifts with a 10% shift differential to compensate for the 4 hours.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
