We are currently looking for a Construction Project Management Assistant to join our team in a variety of administrative and field tasks. The ideal candidate must have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the various demands of a fast-paced office environment. The Construction Project Management Assistant will have the opportunity to do challenging work, take on progressively greater accountabilities and build close relationships with key executive team members.
Some Specific Tasks Include:
-Administrative support and data entry in department software programs.
-Organize and follow-up on all subcontracts, change orders, and other documentation.
-Assist with invoicing and financial data entry into the software programs.
-Assist the Project Management team with document preparation and filing.
-Assist with formatting and organization of construction templates.
-Must be available to work 20 - 30 hours each week, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.
This Position Requires:
-Proficiency with software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro).
-Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
-Knowledge of a computing database tool.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Outstanding customer service skills.
-Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
-Ability to follow written and verbal direction.
-Ability to apply basic math skills.
Education / Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
-Currently enrolled in a college architectural, construction, or engineering program preferred.
-Reliable transportation.
-Ability to pass a criminal background check.
