Warehouse Associate - starting pay up to $20 depending on shift!Job DescriptionGeneral laborers will use an overhead crane to control the lifting, moving, and positioning of loads on the crane. They observe and ensure that the load is safely attached and within the lifting limits. They keep the crane clean and well-maintained. Crane operators will be responsible for tracking inventory in their own bay. Customers will drive semis through the plant, and crane operators will load the bed of the truck with structural steel beams based on the order sheet.Responsibilities
Use an overhead crane to lift, move, and position loads.
Ensure loads are safely attached and within lifting limits.
Maintain and clean the crane regularly.
Track inventory in the assigned bay.
Load structural steel beams onto trucks based on order sheets.
Work EnvironmentThis is a metal distribution center that is not temperature-controlled. The temperature inside will match the outdoor conditions due to trucks driving in and out throughout the day. The facility is relatively clean for a metal distribution center. Shifts are available as follows: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Team sizes range from 2-3 people.
