Position Summary
Cooks are responsible for preparing a small food menu quickly and consistently in a fast-paced bar setting using very basic equipment. This position requires attention to detail, cleanliness, and teamwork to ensure each order is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Key Expectations and Responsibilities
Prepare food items using all necessary kitchen equipment
Follow recipes and portion standards
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Communicate effectively with all team members throughout each shift
Restock and prep ingredients as needed
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
Experience Preferences and Requirements
Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
Ability to multitask and stay calm and focused under pressure
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to consistently work nights, weekends, and during major sporting events
