DescriptionSeven Hills Hospital is a growing, private, 134-bed psychiatric hospital that is dedicated to providing high-quality care for adults, geriatrics, and adolescents (ages 5-17) who are suffering from behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Our patients recover at our new, state-of-the art medical facility in the Seven Hills area of Henderson, Nevada. Henderson is one of the fastest growing cities in the US and is located just 7 miles from the famed Las Vegas Strip and a couple of miles from beautiful Lake Mead.Seven Hills Hospital is part of the Acadia Healthcare, a provider of behavioral healthcare services throughout the US.We are currently looking for a Night Shift RN. Hours from 7pm-7:30am.Key Functions:
Demonstrating positive interpersonal/customer relationships with multidisciplinary team members, administration, referral sources, families and professional community.
Complete physical and mental health assessments
Develop strategies for helping patients to be as independent as possible
Plan, implement, document, evaluate and update physical and mental health nursing care plans
Administer and assess the effects of prescribed medications and treatments
Observe, report and document behavioral changes
Encourage patients to participate in interpersonal and other therapeutic activities to enhance their interpersonal skills
Teach strategies and activities designed to promote both mental and physical wellness
Interpret laboratory and diagnostic test results and inform physician
Qualifications:
