CAD Designer for High Pile Storage Rack Layout/Design/Permit Sets
We're an established material handling storage and material moving equipment company looking for a CAD Designer/Engineer who will team with our staff to do High Pile Storage Rack Layouts for our customers.
Experience is preferred but we will train the right person.
The perfect teammate should be a natural collaborator, responsible, reliable, and personable with a team-focused helpful attitude.
The right person will initially be contracted on a per-project, as-needed basis but due to our growth this talented individual may be brought on full time with us in the near future.
Other desired qualifications and duties would include:
- A familiarity with storage rack types and methodology.
- Familiarity with IBC, NFPA, and local codes (Clark County, City of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, and City of Henderson)
- Assist with plan creation, submissions, revisions, corrections, drafts, etc.
- Experience with integration of fire sprinkler information
- Experience in High Pile Storage Plan creation
- Permit set creation
- Building and Fire Prevention Planning Experience
- Mastery of Autocad and other drafting programs
- Experience with Sketchup a plus
