Description We are offering a pivotal role for a Controller in our manufacturing sector, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The person in this position will play a crucial part in overseeing all financial activities and ensuring the integrity of our financial records. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly close Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and financial forecasts Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and professional development opportunities Act as a liaison between the accounting department and the manufacturing facility to ensure effective communication and collaboration Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving initiatives Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsIf you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Kathy Beavers at Robert Half, see contact information on LinkedIn.Requirements Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a Controller role Must possess strong knowledge in Manufacturing and GAAP Accounting Must have experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting Proficiency in using JobBOSS and Acumatica software is preferred Knowledge of General Ledger and Financial Statement Preparation is required Must be able to conduct Monthly Close and Financial Analysis Experience in preparing Annual Budget and Financial Forecast is necessary Must possess effective Leadership SkillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
