Data Steward - Data Governance

The primary responsibility of the Data Steward is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data within our organization. The Data Steward will collaborate with the Data Governance Team in implementing data governance processes, resolving data quality issues, and supporting Master Data Management (MDM) efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of data management principles.Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Data Governance Team to implement and maintain data governance processes, policies, and procedures.Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues, resolve inconsistencies, and ensure adherence to data standards and guidelines.Assist in data profiling and data cleansing activities to improve data quality and accuracy.Participate in data matching and data consolidation efforts, reviewing match results, and providing recommendations for data resolution.Support the Data Governance Team in monitoring and reporting data quality metrics and key performance indicators.Act as a point of contact for data-related inquiries and provide guidance to users on data governance best practices.Ensure data documentation and metadata management are accurate and up-to-date.Collaborate with IT team members to ensure proper data integration, security, and privacy measures are in place.Assist in the development and maintenance of data quality reports and dashboards.Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in data management practices, and emerging technologies.
