The Host Person is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive first impression for guests at Wynn Las Vegas. This role manages reservations, guest flow, and seating while delivering friendly, efficient, and attentive service consistent with Wynn’s service standards.The Host Person serves as the first and last point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience through professional communication, strong organization, and a guest-first mindset. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & First ImpressionsGreet all guests warmly with eye contact and a friendly, engaging demeanorMaintain a professional, upbeat presence in all guest interactionsProvide accurate information regarding menu offerings, wait times, and restaurant amenitiesThank and invite guests to return, creating a lasting positive impression Seating & Reservations ManagementManage the guest seating process to ensure efficient table turns and balanced service flowMaintain accurate waitlists and provide realistic wait timesCoordinate reservations, large-party bookings, and special seating requestsCommunicate effectively with servers and management regarding guest flow and table status Communication & CoordinationAct as a liaison between guests and restaurant team members, relaying feedback or service needsCommunicate guest preferences, special occasions, or VIP notes to service and management teamsSupport front-of-house operations through clear, timely communication Guest Support & Service RecoveryAssist guests with special requests, inquiries, and directions to other property amenitiesAddress guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues as neededSupport overall guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding promptly Operational ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry areaEnsure menus, signage, and reservation systems are accurate and up to dateComplete opening, closing, and shift-related checklistsAttend pre-shift meetings and training sessions to stay informed of daily priorities Compliance & Brand StandardsAdhere to Wynn grooming, uniform, and presentation standards at all timesFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesExecute all responsibilities in accordance with Wynn policies and departmental procedures
