AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead for Microgrid and Battery Energy Storage to join our growing Energy Team.  

 This position is HYBRID.

This position will provide technical oversight and also perform technical tasks for planning, feasibility, design and construction projects on a variety of projects focusing on Microgrid, BESS and renewable energy projects. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual with an excellent understanding of developing, designing and implementing microgrid solutions for a wide variety of end-uses.  

The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following:Interface regularly with the clients to identify project needs, communicate engineering solutions, and strengthen client relationships.Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in coordinated successful execution of projectsCoordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the technical execution of scopeDevelop cost estimates to determine ROIWrite technical reports to communicate findings to clients and stakeholdersDevelop detailed microgrid solutions utilizing industry recognized software (e.g. Homer Grid)Review or originate solar engineering design packagesReview or originate energy production modelingDeveloping and maintaining good client relationships across the portfolioLead and support development of technical proposals.Training others to learn project management skillsOccasional travel within the United States will be requiredAssist recruit and build a team of professionals to support the growth strategy DCS—Energy
