Position: District Manager
Summary:
The District Manager is accountable for fostering a company culture that aligns with organizational values, driving sales and profitability through effective financial management, and providing leadership and support to General Managers. The primary objective of the District Manager is to ensure the successful operations of the restaurants within their portfolio. This role involves upholding and enforcing company policies, practices, and procedures, with reporting responsibilities to the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management:
- Achieve or surpass budgeted sales and profit targets.
- Optimize profitability by managing expenses within budget constraints.
- Identify and address labor and food cost efficiency challenges.
2. Operations:
- Ensure all restaurants meet or exceed operational and quality standards.
- Conduct monthly self-assessments of each restaurant, develop action plans, and provide guidance on improving operational performance.
- Maintain a professional restaurant and team image through strict adherence to cleanliness and appearance standards.
3. Guest Service:
- Promptly address guest complaints and maintain a solid commitment to guest satisfaction.
4. Personnel Management:
- Recruit, train, supervise, coac ,and terminate restaurant management staff as necessary.
- Develop managers through ongoing feedback and performance expectations setting.
- Establish and maintain a plan for internal candidate development for promotion.
5. Training and Development:
- Train Managers on company policy and procedure changes.
- Assist Managers in problem identification and solution development.
-Ensurepracticale training of Manager Trainees and monitor training store effectiveness.
6. Employee Relations:
- Conduct investigations as needed and involve relevant parties to resolve issues.
- Coach restaurant management for performance improvement.
- Collaborate with the management team to address potential issues and develop solutions.
7. Administration:
- Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations and company policies.
- Complete financial reports accurately and respond to P&L statements with corrective actions.
- Review and act on all company-generated reports.
- Serve as a liaison between field locations and the home office.
The District Manager role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage multiple restaurant locations, drive operational excellence, ensure financial success, enhance guest satisfaction, and foster employee development.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
