Big Rig Collision has an immediate opening for an Automotive Paint Prepper.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team.
You will prepare vehicles for the painting process, ensuring the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
The paint prepper is a multifaceted role that will require attention to detail, and effective communication.
Responsibilities of a Paint Prepper:
Prepare vehicles for paint job by performing thorough sanding, masking, and priming procedures, ensuring smooth and flawless surfaces.
Apply primer to surface on which vehicle will be painted. Sand blocks primed surface. Clean and masks vehicle in preparation for painting within the pre-established time.
Inspect all repaired and primed panels for proper and complete body repairs and primer application.
Review any incomplete, missed damage, or improper repairs with management before proceeding.
Using appropriate tools and paint sprayer equipment to perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
Collaborate with the paint team to ensure proper color matching and automotive paint application techniques for car painting.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
Shift: Tuesday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Saturday- 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00
