We are producing a major women’s empowerment event in early 2026. For many years, our organization has grown through organic sales with minimal reliance on a formal sales team. We are now expanding this area significantly, not only for the upcoming event but also for all sales activities across the company.
We are seeking a Sales Manager who will take the lead in building this department from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, dependable, hardworking, and ready to step into a long-term leadership position.
Position: Sales Manager (Hourly + Commission)
Type: Part-Time, Remote
Hours: 25–30 hours per week
Pay: $17 per hour plus commission
Start Date: Immediate
Your Role
You will spearhead the development and leadership of a full sales department. This includes event-related sales as well as ongoing company sales initiatives. You will recruit, train, and manage a team of commission-only sales representatives while also creating the systems, structure, and performance expectations that will support the department’s long-term success.
You will be a trusted leader responsible for building the entire sales function from scratch.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
Recruit, interview, screen, and onboard new sales representatives
Lead and motivate a team of commission-only reps
Conduct weekly team meetings and training sessions
Build a positive, high-performance sales culture
Hold team members accountable to daily and weekly goals
Sales Operations and Systems
Develop sales processes, scripts, and outreach strategies
Set up CRM usage guidelines and oversee consistent data entry
Track sales activity and conversions
Prepare weekly performance reports
Assist sales reps with high-ticket or complex deals when needed
Department Development
Create the structure and workflow for a growing sales department
Refine systems as the team expands
Help establish KPIs, tracking sheets, and performance metrics
Collaborate with leadership on long-term sales goals
Sales Initiatives You Will Oversee
Ticket sales for multiple tiers
Vendor and activation booth sales
Sponsorship sales
Power Partner packages
Suite and high-ticket opportunities
Additional company-wide sales offerings
What We Are Looking For
A strong leader who can take initiative, solve problems, and build a department that will scale. We value reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Ideal candidates have experience in:
Managing sales teams
Recruiting commission-only representatives
Sales coaching and accountability
CRM tools and sales reporting
High-ticket or event sales (preferred but not required)
You should be organized, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You must also be someone who can be trusted with responsibility and leadership.
