Top Notch Fleet, Truck & RV Repair is hiring a General Service Technician to help keep our shop running clean, organized, and efficient while supporting our senior technicians.
This role is not a full technician position and does not require diesel experience. It is designed for someone who is dependable, hands-on, and wants to build real mechanical skills over time in a professional heavy-duty shop.

About the Role
The General Service Technician plays a critical role in shop flow and quality. You’ll handle general service tasks, shop organization, and technician support so our experienced techs can stay focused on diagnostics and complex repairs.

What You’ll Do (Shop Support / General Service)
-Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks (fluids, filters, inspections)
-Assist with tires, batteries, brakes, and basic mechanical work
-Support senior technicians during larger repairs
-Keep the shop clean, safe, and well-organized
-Move vehicles in and out of bays as needed
-Use digital checklists and tablets to document work
-Follow shop procedures and communicate clearly with the team
-This role does not include independent diagnostics or running full repair jobs.

-Is mechanically inclined or has basic automotive / maintenance experience
-Is comfortable using tablets and modern shop software (or willing to learn)

Minimum Qualifications
-Experience in general service, lube tech work, fleet maintenance, or similar (preferred but not required)
-Valid driver’s license
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
-Strong work ethic, honesty, and attention to detail
